The best restaurants and bars in Dublin — a perfect-score Italian in Ranelagh, rooftop views over the city, and jazz bars on South William Street that run past midnight.

I would recommend going to this rooftop bar for the views — unfortunately not for the food. But it is a great place to see Dublin from above and enjoy your drink during sunset time. FYI my rating is just for the view, ambiance and cocktails, NOT FOR FOOD.

great Italian in Dublin. I loved everything I had from starters to mains. The portions of mains are big — keep that in mind while ordering starters. For dessert I had tiramisu, it was not bad but maybe it's not for me. Everything else is DELICIOUS. Walked out there with a full tummy.

you can make your own bowls or burritos here — they have lots of options and it's a quick way to fill yourself at a reasonable price. It is a good place for a quick lunch when you are wandering in the city centre.

it's not a restaurant where you can sit and enjoy — more like a quick slice pizza stack situation. It's not the best pizza I've had but it does the job for a quick delicious snack.

ambiance is 10/10 — a restaurant and bar inside a church. The building looks amazing while you enjoy your drinks. They sometimes have tap dance shows, which was quite interesting to see.

they have a looooot of in-house beer options with different flavours which I'd never tried before. Overall great staff and chilled place — it's a great bar to enjoy with friends before a night out. FYI not a fancy place.

super crowded pub. They have live jazz some days — definitely check the dates and go to listen to that, it was quite fun.

the bar is not the best bar but it was fun to see a drag show while sipping our drinks. It tends to start later than what they list on the posters, so keep that in mind.

it's actually an Italian restaurant but I listed it as a bar because live jazz starts after dinner time and the bar is better than the restaurant in my opinion. Great ambiance and staff. They also host different events — check the calendar to see what fits best for you.

okay… so I hate donuts but let me tell you something ☕️ this donut shop changed my view on donuts. Of course it depends on which flavour you try — I tried the chocolate one and it's really good, but also a bit too much if you're not a sweets person.

Dublin is known for this chocolate brand. I tried a couple of different chocolates and overall liked them all — it was winter time when I was there, also tried the hot chocolate and it was really good. But don't make the mistake I made and try them all at the same time lol.
